Default Radiator Drain

Is there a tool that makes opening this drain easier?. Laying under the car I was unable to loosen it by hand and I didn't seem to have any pliers that would fit in the tight space provided. The problem is the tab is facing straight up and down making it really hard to get any tool on it that still has room to rotate CCW and open the drain.

I'll make something if I have to but I'm hoping there is an easier way.

The valve tab is plastic so I'm trying to be careful not to snap it trying to open the valve.

angled head pliers is all I used from underneath the car. Once you get it to turn a litlle, you can do the rest by hand.

Thanks. With your description I was able to get a pair of 4 inch needle nose vise grips on the tab from above to loosen the valve. After that, as you stated it's just turn by hand.

I might mention going in from above is only viable when the car is really cooled off since your arm is right in the middle of various fluid hoses. I'm pretty sure the valve could also be grabbed with the vise grips from below.
