2019 Z06-Z07 package
I haven't owned a Vette in a few years. I have one ordered and due to arrive mid-late July.
Couple of Questions:
1.recommended motor break-in?
2.recommended carbon Ceramic brake brake-in?
3. It's being delivered to me inn Nevada. I understand emission standards are different here than Calif. Is a Z06 built for NV different than one built for California and if so, is there any HP gain?
4. I've heard about a Chevy certified air induction kit that is now available and makes a few extra HP. Anything to this claim?
5. I've had a Valentine-1 radar detector for a long time. Still works great. Anything better out there now?

Just follow the OM. Basically, vary the rpm over the first 500 miles and now hard launches until the gears are worn in.
2.recommended carbon Ceramic brake brake-in?
There is a bed in procedure described in the OM, follow it.

NO.

I don't thing anybody knows for sure.
5. I've had a Valentine-1 radar detector for a long time. Still works great. Anything better out there now?
I haven't used a Radar Detector in over 30 years. So really can't answer that question.

All of the above and the latest Uniden R3 is the new king Radar Detector. Excellent range and very adjustable. The blendmount also works fantastic on the C7.
