Hi . Seeing as we get the regular 91 octane Gas here and so far , summers been pretty humid . I want to try and raise the Octane level to prevent Knock retard or worse , detonation .
Has or does anyone use either of the Boosters listed above ? If so , which in your opinion is the better . I know that Boostane has the Professional and Premium , its says the Premium is for lower compression engines , which one would be the best for our vehicles ?
I have the 100 octane tune and use either 93 or 98 octane fuel with torco
And have had good results
Have not tried boostane yet
I don’t usually drive this on one the street either
I would not of changed the tune, nor run the higher octane if only used on the street

There is a thread on here (try a search) where a forum member tested Torco & Boostane (Professional), you will find it enlightening. I believe Boostane recommends the Professional for boosted engines.
I have tried both and found that Boostane made more power using 'less' than Torco. For a full in depth report find that thread.
I found the thread below but the OP removed all his posts in that thread (I found this odd) but still interesting posts put up by the other posters. Humm, could be Torco sales took a beating?
Yes, I too find it odd that the OP comparing the two chose to remove his posts, kinda takes a bit of the bite out of his whole thread when the OP is no longer in it...
I've been running Torco for the last year and a half in my C7 Z06, and have been road racing it regularly. Also went 201.4 in the Mojave Magnum mile on it, that'a a whole lot of WOT with upper and lower pulleys!!
I'm also tuned on it with my C6, and my supercharged C5 (800 RWHP), probably been running it in my 98 C5 for at least 12 years, never let me done.
They Both use MMT, Boostane uses more MMT in it's pro formula, either way, Torco has been around a LONG time, close to 20 years, they have a very good record, and I'll continue to use it in every tank in each of my 3 vettes...
I don't need someone to come on and tell me what I've been using successfully for a dog's age can be replaced by something that came out many many years after Torco...Use what works for you.

Thanks for the reply's , i see another name that popped up , Klotz ?

No problem, I've heard of and know some that have pushed Klotz, but I'm "married" to Torco LOL... It's been around and been proven for two decades, can't go wrong.
I've used both Boostane and Torco and have now jumped on the Klotz bandwagon. Cheaper, won't turn your internals orange and the mixing ration is nearly identical to that of Torco. My only gripe with Klotz is the can is a royal PITA to pour from without spilling and you do not want to get that stuff anywhere near your paint! Klotz really needs to rethink the design of their bigger cans...
Another way I look at it is if I was only running my car at the track and wanted 100+ octane, I'd use a full can of either Torco or Boostane. For someone looking to use this in every tank to bump 91 oct up to 93-95, the Klotz is the winner in my book for burning cleaner and being more cost effective overall.
Thanks for the link , i just read them both . Extremely good reading and back to back testing. Just wished they would have tried all the Octane boosters but , at least its a start .

Since you use it 24/7, you’re the perfect one to ask.......have you noticed a shortened spark plug, 02 sensor or cat life with Torco ?
I'm thinking they chose to use Boostane from their own experience using these products.
A member who preformed some in-depth (real world) testing between Boostane & Torco found that Boostane Professional produced better results. However after all his time/work he deleted all his posts.
I for one would like to know why he deleted his own posts in his own thread.
