Thank you all for the advice and input. The Z is currently in the shop at Chevy waiting for bottom and back padding. The seat frame and motors are already in.....but one great thing that makes me feel better is that now, a Senior Advisor has no choice but to endorse this case. They apologized and I wonder how they are going to make up for all this hassle.
Take it back to the dealer. And get it replaced under warranty. The motor look faded as well, like that entire seat assembly was left out in the elements.
No reason for it to look that bad in less than a year.
Bingo. Don't listen to those other people. They will cover it under warranty.
Glad they stepped up to the plate on this as there was no way you should have had rust like that.. Congrats on the car and on getting a resolution in your favor!
