the nose piece of a z06 and stingray are the same piece believe it or not, same fender seam lengths. The zr1 is the one that is different at the fender seam lengths, and he is not building this for a zr1 obviously

Update on the bumper. 95% done with the final shape. Vertical dividers will be trimmed way down to show off the built in splitter on the bottom. Flat carbon under tray will complete the bumper. Aggressive undertray/huge splitter will also be available for track rats.
Bumper should be ready to ship after SEMA. Building my widebody at the same time.

is that car lowered a lot, or is that really going to be that low to the ground? Seems those cheek openings come down a long way on this newest photo.

seems like a lot of meat has been added to the under side of the cheeks... i like the original thinner version. And if that is the splitter, i highly request putting a splitter on that is low in the center as well, as the whole point of the splitter is to keep air from going under the car, a flat one all the way across, forcing air into the center HX behind the splitter would be ideal.

for sema, what you have will look amazing, for every day driving, i have concerns. Personally, i would probably buy the nose only and thin at the bottom, and then add a cross member to it somehow, so there is a splittler in the middle only, which is even in height with the bottoms of the 2 cheeks. I would not add a splitter under each cheek, already low enough it appears to me, but again, i dont know how much your car is lowered etc.

Built in splitter will make it cheaper than two piece.
Cant wait until the final product is finished.

i took a hard look at my car today which is at full ride height, and i still scrape my front stage 1 splitter pretty often. The stage 3 cars are worse than mine, the arp is a step lower yet.
I really think you might be shooting yourself in the foot making this so low... not everyone is trying to win a car show, a lot of people want this for utility, and their cars HAVE been lowered... plus if they are like me, they still want to add a splitter to the car to keep air from going in the middle and under the car, and instead, forcing it up into the middle exchangers.
I dont care about air under my front tires as much as i car about air under the car... while the design looks great, the practicality of the idea is backwards.
I'm genuinely worried i would rip this off the front of my car in less than a month of driving, and i hate being the guy making the horrible scrape noise in and out of entrances.

i guess photos of it on a stock ride height car would be ideal before i make a real judgement. Just concerned because i still want a splitter in the middle, and to also attach and protect under the painted nose on each side where it is low.

I know its not done but why have it stick out as far as it looks in the pic which would make the car longer? Someone might be temped to put their foot on there.

I really hope this bumper is budget friendly (for those of us who simply want a plastic bumper.....)
We should all make a list of ZR1 cooling parts (Incl.part numbers) required for our Z06's.
