Hi Larry, I was at the track sat night also. I saw you go 133, then 130...I didn't see it slow down passed that but... It was 96* at 8:00 pm so....

Plus the track was slick as snot.

Have you put meth on it yet? I think that is really the only work around for the IATs the tiny blowers make.... That and icing the reservoir down before each pass.

Didn't see you Saturday. How did you run?

I didn't get that 133 time slip so I didn't know what mph I ran that pass. I lost traction so badly I thought it was a wasted pass. I felt like I was inching up on the car that beat me. Would have been much closer had I held. My 130 was my second pass and then a third down to 121. Didn't log that first pass so don't know what my IAT or MAT was. I know on the second 130 pass it was 174* and 183 on the 121 pass. As much timing that was pulled in my log I'm really surprised I ran 121 on that pass.

No meth. Probably should do that next or race only in winter. Did not ice either. Not sure how much it would have help as it seemed like every time I got in line their was quite a lot of idling. My fan running 70-75% didn't bring the temp down much.

I ran WG last week and went into limp mode with temps about 86 degrees.
Thank you
The stock ratio. 60% water and 40% Dexcool.

Anyone think removing the condenser and changing to a Dewitts radiator for an M7 will do the trick?

Figured removing the condenser for more air air flow can only benefit.

I wasn't racing. I was there with Jim with the 67' TT Vette.

I did watch your first two passes...I saw it spinning. The first pass was definitely 133. Then I saw 130. I think the ET was a 10.60.

I figured you must have done something to the car to run 133 mph in 2700' DA. Are you on E85? Yeah these cars need meth, pretty much useless without it. Unless you can go full E85, have an ice tank with a bunch of water and have wiped out the IAT/KR table...

I didn't get to see what he ran. I bet awfully good!

Had I held tracton that first pass might have ran a 10.4x. Maybe not so bad for 90* air and about 2500 da. But I do have a 9% crank pulley now. That second pass was a 10.617@130.33 mph.

I agree to run in these temperatures E85 would be good. I have about a 15 mile one way drive to get it. And really don't know anything about the install. Nor meth.

I did run a quick WOT yesterday and my power is back and better than any of my logs comparing the mph, torque, etc. from the track. It's obviously temperature related why I ran so poorly.

Thanks for catching that first mph. I had no idea it was 133 after spinning about the first 60'.
