Default Missing Screw?

Can someone look at their engine and tell me if the attached picture just below the GM logo has a screw or something that my car seems to be missing. The hole is treaded and very clean as though something should be there?

It means there are no screws in that hole on any car. There are threads somewhere discussing what might go in there, but I haven't seen a definitive answer anywhere.
