Default DSC Controller - backordered ???

Has anyone recently ordered a new V3. Google search shows backorded and in stock on the same search result thread.
I never remember to call them during the week and they’re closed on the weekends.

Backordered as far as I know. I have a customer that's been waiting for one since April.

If you intend on keeping mag ride/leaf springs, I have a lot of people running our sways with the dsc that are very happy. As to the backorder, Michael is meticulous, a little while back he got a batch of them in, wasn't satisfied with the manufacturing and did not send any of them out. While we all hate waiting, I have to respect his commitment to making sure customers receive a quality product.

A couple days ago I went to order one from the DSC website and noticed they were backordered. I checked Katech's website and it said they were in stock, so I ordered one. Just got it on Friday! : )

When I spoke with Jeremy on Aug 16, he told me it would be a few days.
So I bought from them. (and paid)
I could have gotten one from Katech, but the shipping was $15 more, so I went with DSC.

It would be nice if they would give us a realistic date.

Here are the facts on the V3 controller from day 1 when we released V2 mag controller for the C7 I already was working on V3 and every Corvette controller we made I'm proud to say had the V3 hardware it was just a flash away I had years into the Porsche line to perfect the strategy only to impliment the code it was tough to breakthrough but we did it . So anyone that has any Mag controller can update to the latest version code and have it work the same as if they bought a brand new controller.
As far as backorder yes I have been building short runs of dual can boards still has the same V3 control loop only has the capability to do future cars and can capabilities. Short run means batches of 50 PC's not to test performance but to ensure the quality I'm looking for. I have really been working full time to build a large run to meet the needs of the future and present and offer more features in both present and future . The next run will be 200 PC's then finalize the 18 and up I was hoping to have my ZR1 by now so I could solve the missing component but I'll do it we do have a few 18 up cars working we're trying to finalize these .
I should have 1000 PC's for assembly in stock in the next week then we will build up 200 bords are done only awaiting connectors and cases. Sorry for the delay. In the short time check with Katech , LG, or Ridetech they may have stock and if they do it is all V3 not just comparable but the same performance as what I'll produce in the coming weeks.
I'll try to update the website later in the week with the date orders will ship it will be soon I approved a new run last week so it's happening

Mike,
an update please.
I ordered mine via telephone from Jeremy, July 16.
At that time he told me it would be a few days.
There was no mention of "back ordered".
So you have my money; I just want my controller.

Thanks

I'm doing everything to get the latest boards released they feature an improved ground plane and a second can chip for future add ons. There is also a few other updates. I have 200 boards complete waiting on 1000 PC's of connector. I had to make a revision to the pins final parts should be here in two weeks I'm told. I'll update as soon as I have my release should be in the next week. It's hectic right now I've been on the road with the race team for a week and we're in bettwee rounds.

Wait so your batch (the revised batch) are only going to be stocked through you or other vendors?

If a vendor, whomever, say has some left in stock, it's going to be the previous version of the ones you're currently making?

But what i was asking is what is the difference between some vendors who have some in stock NOW vs the ones you're going to have in a couple of weeks?

If i buy one tonight from a vendor who has it in stock, i don't want an outdated version for the same price as if i just waited a couple of weeks until you get the new ones in your stock.

That's what i was asking. Is it the same thing?

Yeah i would wait until more comes in stock before you place your order. That's what i'm doing.

And plus i don't want leftover stock that's been sitting on the shelf with an outdated version. Might as well get the new new one.

I would to if I hadn't already ordered. I'm very confident it's a great product and worth the money from all I've read but now I'm reading that some have been waiting since April??? No one wants to pay $1300 for even a great product and wait 3 or 4 months to get it. But I'm good if I get one of this 200 piece run in 2 weeks.
