Like most I have it primarily in 1st and 2nd gear when cold. Other than Silver74 post above, anyone else tried a fluid change with good results?

My C6 did this same thing first to second shift, even after 149,000m. I did one of these to avoid it:

1. Start out in second gear
2. Slow down the shift from first to second when cold - just let it slide into second gently.
3. Double clutch from first to second (push clutch in, shift from first to neutral, release clutch, push clutch in, shift from neutral to second).

My C6/ Gen IV Viper and FGT all have/ had notchy/ grinding issues when cold. I just take a second longer between shifts from 1-2-3 when cold, for the 1st 5 minutes of driving. That, or double clutch works...
