X-Pipe Decision
Then again, I have Corsa X with Corsa extreme mufflers.. the cold start can wake up the dead. I have a Z, I want it to scream when getting on it and I love the exotic-esque sound.. I had a Camaro SS before and with muscle cars, the deep tone does suit it more. The Z is a true sports car, it should sound exotic vs muslce-esque.
At the end of the day, can't go wrong with both options.. I just know I wanted the loudess sound without tampering with my cats, headers.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I had a borla axleback on my C6 and that sounded amazing. When i got my C7Z, i wanted to try out a corsa product.
But after reading that the borla was lighter, cheaper in a way, easier install and provided more power (even though it's not SOTP), i went with that. After watching video after video after video of z06's with all kinds of exhaust mods, xpipes etc, i still bought the borla.
After getting it installed, videos do not do justice the great sound it makes. It sounds A LOT better in person, obviously. As i would think corsa would sound better in person too.
But like someone said, corsa makes an exotic sound, almost like a ringing if that makes sense. And borla creates a more "raw" stock sounding. It will still sound like a Z that's stock, only louder and more "raw", as if you're putting long tubes on an LS or something.
That's the impression i get when i installed mine. I can only imagine how loud our cars would be with actual long tubes. I think my Z now is louder with just an xpipe than my C6 was with long tubes, no cats and a borla exhaust.
