Default I'm a professional again, they get paid

Been Test & Tuning with the Z06 for a good while now when I do go to the track. With all the rain here on the north east coast this year there has not been a whole lot of drag racing.

Today at the track I decided to get into the 1/8 mile "all in one race" which is where all classes, everything; dragsters, door cars, mods, bikes, with & without electronics and street cars race one another for the "1" big payout to whoever wins the final round.

Long story short with a lot of luck I made it into the final round. Hopefully I made some C7/Z06 liking people smile today. One of the track personnel suggested to me that usually in this race the last few still in decide to split up the money which was OK with me, well at that point there was three left, the two who had to race to get into the final and myself who was already in the final due to cutting the best light in the previous round of six racers. We all agreed to splitting up the money. The loser of the round before the final would get less and the two in the final would split the lions share equally. The winner of the final race also gets their picture with car taken for the track. Well that was not me, I red lighted but even if I would of cut a perfect light I still would not of won the last round due to wheel hoping right out of the gate which caused me to let off to prevent any damage to the rear.

Congrats on the final round. Win or lose is still a good day.

At least you still have a track that's open.

I've got to wait until next spring.

Bummer! This is the time of year when the air gets good. Depending on the weather some of the tracks here have stayed open into December.

PS: I think the stock C7/Z06 record was set on Dec.15 @ MIR.
