I wasn't able to do a before/after dyno, but I did get the lid installed (took maybe 10-15 min). The blower sound is LOUD. Way louder than I ever thought it would be. Its almost to loud!

I think some videos are on the thread already, unfortunately my car is on my quick jack waiting for a header install this weekend. On a side note i will have a slightly used borla xpipe for sale in the NOVA area
Just installed mine a little bit ago.....pretty easy install like all who have stated before ....I thought I was getting the black lid but the metal lid came....I was pissed at 1st but looking at it I think I like it actually....on 1st start up its really not that loud...gonna be nice tomorrow and the next few days here in Central Florida so I will definitely be taking out WM to see and hear any difference!! Thanks all who answered my questions and help!!
Wondering if there is increased SC whine with this lid on a stock LT4?
My only mod is intake, and blower whine is addicting to hear after the nx lid install. To answer your question yes it’s a very noticeable increase in sound.

Ok ...so far for me after a couple of drives....I’m getting not much of a SC whine at all??? I don’t drive any highway miles so I don’t get much of a chance to really wring it out....on the good side.... it seems to have better response and feels like it pulls harder for sure...but all I hear is my glorious Borla X Pipe and Catless Magnaflow Competition Exhaust screaming....
