Default Post your mod list

I did a list like this for my 2012 CTS-V coupe. Always shocks me when you catalog everything you've done or will do to your car..Would love to see other's list, here's mine:

1) EOS carbon fiber front splitter
2) EOS carbon fiber side skirts
3) APR carbon fiber hood vent
4) APR carbon fiber wheel spats
5) eBay clear wicker
6) GM stage 3 spoiler
7) GM stage 3 winglets
8) ZL1 add-ons front/rear tow hooks, Orange color-matched
9) C7.R orange decals - winglets, clear wicker, steering wheel
10) Carbon fiber seatbelt tender
11) Carbon fiber exterior door pockets
12) Carbon fiber center counsel overlay
13) Carbon fiber steering wheel overlay
14) Carbon fiber door locks overlay
15) GM racing Jake decal
16) Lloyds C7.R front mats
17) Lloyds Z06 cargo mat
18) McGuard black lugnuts and locks
19) Z06 valve stem covers
20) GM CAI
21) Hawk DTC racing pads
22) Castrol SRF brake fluid
23) Deity Signature forged 18" racing wheels
24) Toyo R888R 315/30F and 335/30R
25) Custom painted Orange shift paddles with new REV MATCH decals
26)) VIR track decal
27) Custom Center caps (inbound)
28) C7.R door sills, custom Orange vinyl "R"
29) C7.R dash plaque, custom Orange painted "R"
30) Stinger hood stripe
31) Blackout vinyl for 6 exterior lights/reflectors
32) 4 Thermal blankets for CATS and trans tunnel
33) Z06 license plate bracket
34) Custom wicker hardware, black anodized versus GM's cheap looking screws
35) EOS rear diffuser fins

I know that's a lot. Some subtle, some not so subtle. The Z06 is a great platform to customize.

Welcome to the forum. Driver mod is a good place to start, especially if this is your first Z06. The learning curve can be steep, especially on a track. Enjoy.

(and right now the car is being used as a guinea pig, all torn apart, for mock up of the cooling system I will need on my next car which will have upgrades and be taken to the track often enough to need to be cooled down)

BMS filter
Borla x-pipe
Katch PTB

That's it for performance.

Block it foam mats (i know, why did i do that? When changing out the RF's was all i needed to do lol).
Full stage 3 front spoiler with winglets
Forgestar wheels

I'm done with all modifications. Deciding on getting the DSC controller though. It'll be hard to justify spending 1300 bucks on a car i only drive on weekends and since i'll be trading soon (hopefully for the C8), it makes no sense at this time of ownership. I should have gotten the DSC when i first got the car.

Nah, we're all in the same boat, unless we can get to the levels of pro driving. That doesn't seem to happen when you only do it as a 'hobby' : ))

EOS splitter is on par with C7 carbons products, so pretty good. The side skirts are thin though. Thinner than C7 carbon. And no I haven't put the rear fins on yet. Waiting for a day over 60* so the paint will lay right.

Borla catless X-Pipe
Mamo Ported Throttle Body

That's it aside from some track time. The reality is, these cars, in stock form, exceed most owner's ability to drive them anywhere near the limit.

Mine is in storage but I have some goodies ready to go when the weather warms up:

  • Borla X-pipe
  • Oracle Color-matched and tinted LED side-markers
  • Mamo PTB
  • Weathertech cargo mat

Still to come:

  • AFE Momentum intake
  • Tint
  • Engine bay dress-up goodies (still deciding what to get)

I'm not a track guy (scared to add that addiction to my current mod disease) ZO6 is plenty fast for my use. I'm focused on appearance mods. I love the look and legacy of the vette but don't like being in a cookie cutter looking car. I mod every car to my taste. I'm just getting started but have plans.

Ivan Tampi rear spoiler
C7 carbon GTX side skirt (not installed)
ADPM Rear hatch(not installed)
ADPM front bumper(not installed)
ZR1 replica wheels powder coated illusion cherry

@Panth3r I'd never heard of ADPM. Had to google some pics. Wow, you must post up once you get everything installed.
