Take a look at the title of the OPs threads. Everyone is to stir the pot. Nothing educational, helpful.. just **** stirrer across the board.
Energy wasted... could have been well spent.. sad really.

I hate to break it to you but when the new revolutionary Ferrari like C8 is released, this is the model of vette that C7's will most likely remembered and compared against in about 2 years, some folks probably won't even know the difference between the two models (C4 & C7) once the C8 hits the streets:
in case this is serious, I bought it to enjoy.

I’ll take one of each: C5Z, C6Z, C7Z, C8Z.

I had to laugh at the responses to the OP's post. He stated an opinion and then the internet trolls pile on with personal comments.
Their are 9000 or so unsold C7's on the market right now and a number of recall notices out for the car. The discounts being offered are getting ridiculous and the cars still sit on the lots. A local dealer made me an offer on my 2011 GS to trade on a 2018 C7 and the difference in the money they wanted wasn't that great considering the C7 GS was 8 years newer with no miles on it. He told me they could sell a C6 immediately because they have a waiting list of potential owners.
The C7 has a reputation for problems and all one has to do is read the endless reviews online.Car and Driver's first review of the C7 deemed it "very fun to drive, very capable, but unreliable".
Let's not even talk about the huge problem with the wheels and not covered by warranty.

Overall, Car and Driver's assessment of "its mid-engine replacement C8 can't come soon enough." could be the epitaph on the legacy of the C7.

Seems like a few of these C4's will always be in demand, 1990 ZR1 and the Grand Sports. I wouldn't mind having either one of them, or both.
There were a lot of C7's sold, most likely for some, their last Corvette. I don't believe anyone will be remembering the C7 as a C4.

Love the ‘can’t come soon enough’ comment. As a road racer I’d ask - How many other $75K cars are passing you at the track? Im happy that the M/E is coming but I know of no other car in the Z’s price range or frankly $100K higher that can match the bang for buck unless you say every second at VIR is worth $50K.

The only way you would stamp the C4 into the gutter of your memory is if you lived as a young person, way before it, or way after it. If you actually lived the side by side comparison of Corvette to every other piece of crap on the road during 1984 all the way up to 1995, you wouldn't be so cruel. Sure, if you owned Chevelle's and Camaro's during the 1960's, you might have been thinking, "thanks, Next..". Or if you only started learning about speed from the introduction of the Twin Turbo 300ZX or Modified Supra, then you're going to stay disappointed It owned a time period just fine for people of its time.
