Show me your best cell phone setup for C7 Z06

Weather tech, the guys that make the floor protector s make a gizmo called the "cup fone". Looks like it would suit your needs. Personally, I just plug mine into the USB inside the console. I like how it connects WAZE to my dash screen. Here's a link for the cup fone.

Was gonna get this but I needed several (4, to be exact) and the >$40 Weathertech price tag was a bit much. I found similar ones on eBay for $7.50 delivered (on a slow boat from China).....I ordered one as a "tester" and it was great. Plenty of adjustment for phone size and cupholder size, and it holds everything snugly...so I ordered 3 more. Likely will not last as long as Weathertech but for 20% of the price I will risk it. They also have ones with extended and adjustable necks that might help move the phone farther away from the shifter.....

Another vote for ProClip here. It works awesome and the customer service was great when I called.
I have a real hard time complaining about price on a functional accessory for a $70k+ car that I didn't need in the first place.

(insert picture of center console). I'm not an Uber driver...no need to have it out in plain view.

If that is the case then Weathertech is an IP thief (which I don't beleive that they are, at least in this case). This is a new product for them but these things have been around for years in various shapes and forms. A virginia boat dealer even jury-rigged one for a depth finder for me back in 2007. (for various reasons I am sensitive to IP theft and I actually checked before ordering and neither Weathertech nor MacNeil has any published patents or pending patent applications on anything like this, at least based on my quick searching). Macneil tends to rely on slick and targeted marketing to sell their products and to gain market share rather than patents, anyway (and to justify their pricing).

Proclip here with the magnetic base. I put the magnet on the inside of my cell case and works great. Location and angle are spot on and it can be removed with no damage to the interior.

I tend to agree, but I live in VA where radar detectors are illegal. Waze is my radar detector......(and more effective, IMO), and sometimes I will switch between Google and Waze. The phone holder is very helpful.....

My Android auto works perfectly with the USB charging cord and I run the Waze on the main monitor in my C7 ZO6 infotainment system and I'll run Google play music I'll run Pandora music, so many different apps available with Android auto

Not all my cars have Android Auto, and I admit that sometimes I just don't bother to plug it in......

Hi all, sorry for the delay following up. Thanks for all the suggestions and perspectives. The ProClip is $30 now and looks great, just ordered one. I don't know if it was a forum member who created that YouTube video of how to install it, but if it was, many thanks to whoever made the video, it helped a bunch in understanding the ins and outs of the product.
