Would you rather...
Florida is the reason all vettes, from base stingray to ZR1, have to be certified to drive through 12 inches of water at 5mph. And that is just the parking lots at the malls.after an afternoon cloudburst.
At King Tides the Route a1a is flooded in parts from Miami to Boca
Escaping Florida is best done in a self-driving RV, with you snoozing in the back through 386 miles of flat, straight I95
sooo, my vette spends most of it's time at our Va lake house, with 5 mountains up to 3,000 ft within 20 miles of me, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 75 mi to the mtns of Wva..
which, as the National Geographic measures
vette be happiest in the hills.

s hat 2019 deal hurts me though, can’t believe it’s that low.
REAL!
I have never had any one even look at it.
I would consider a trade if is as fairly priced as mine is.
I have an enclosed Show Car trailer and would deliver it
anywhere in the Country for gas cost.

appreciate the offer, but if you’re interested PM me
I ended up buying my own CarFax report on the vehicle and 2 things kind of stuck out to me. Front brake pads were replaced at around 9k miles and all tires were mounted (assuming replaced) Is this normal? Can’t imagine the front pads going out unless it was driven hard.
Seems like it’s been taken care of so I’m not too worried.

tire repaired? Cup 2's are nail magnets, and stone magnets, and any kinda debris magnets. on my first run from dealer - new car, all four tires had picked up metal bits, rocks etc ALOT which I dug out of the quicksand like rubber compound. your repair got lucky, the nail whatever was in the middle. My bro got an unrepairable Cup 2 nail on the 127 mile drive home from his new car dealer!
four tires of the Cup 2 variety lasting almost 9k miles is OUTSTANDING. ( i swapped mine out for Michelin P/S AS 3+ with real tread (not painted-on tread like the Cup 2's) the first week of ownership, and verts not allowed to be tracked anyhoo.
since you plan to track, you will want to keep the Cup2's, the best track tire, period. expensive new, but up till now, plenty owners take them off for more street-friendly tires and sell them cheap in the used parts forum here.
all maintenance done, eg well maintained. For track days recommended ( but not appearing to be done) maintenance mention of change of oil to 15w-50. change of brake fluid to high temp for track days and then change back to street fluids, or alignment changed to track settings. but eyeball v1 is a most important diagnostic instrument. study it when you go there.
if this car is at a chevy dealership, ask them to run the VIS report for you. or if at another dealership, get the vin and ask a nearby chevy dealership to run the VIS report for you. Will show ALL Gm service to the car, in case the carfax missed something.

From the sounds of it, Cup 2’s will most likely be track tires for me. It rains out here a bunch so regardless I think I’ll go with a tire that has actual tread. I’ll look into the Michelin P/S AS 3+ you mentioned I feel these would be my best bet for a tire especially with my driving style.
Thanks again!
Def will look into the Michelin P/S AS 3+‘s.
Thanks!
option 2 sold unfortunately :’(
may be going for option 1.
Hah! So far I’ll be going for option 1. Appreciate the recommendation! I’ve also been reading a bunch about the Overheating issues. Def don’t think I’ll over heat it, seemed more like a hardcore track day would get it too hot.
If my car was paid off I’d do it in a heart beat. It’s a 2018 Jeep Trackhawk. Still owe a pretty penny on it, yulwoours sounds like it’s already paid off lol #goals
appreciate the offer, but if you’re interested PM me

My boy had a Hellcat and a Scatpack = I would give it to him.
The funds are no problem to do this for me....Best thing about being
Old is I am no long Poor.
My son # (702) 563 - 9144 Jon Before 8 PM (Small Children)
BTW 2019 has larger Radiator and Stronger Differential
I had 2016 and 2017 Z06s A8 and the were marginal on Temp
out here in brutal Nevada Heat!

I want a top down cruiser 12 month daily driver.............so I slipped on some Carbon Ceramic Brakes @ 1500 miles, I have 90% reduced brake dust, for less than $250.
I also didn't want the large rear spoilers or front spoiler, so I ordered it with what it came with Stage 1 with the poverty splitter, then ordered RPI Spats and Stage 2 front splitter in Carbon Flash.
My car is exactly how I want it, and it was not built with anything more than I needed or anything less than I needed.
But I respect your opinion, to each their own !!!
My 2009 ZR1 has those brakes and they are impressive, just not needed on my 2019 VERT.

OP. Look for the regular Z06 with the CCB option. Getting the Z07 package to forgo a 2017 or newer (19 best 18 secondly) is a waste for an auto and non track car.
In on my second new C7Z. 1st bought off the lot 2nd is one of the last built I ordered to my spec.
IF you can avoid it? Do not go 16 or 15. The 17 up (again 18 newer doesn't have a lot of bs issues some worse than others) earlier cars had. Delam dash pad on 3LZ, paint, almost double thickness radiator for 18 up. And 19s got better IC pump for blower to stop cavitation.
Also 18s - stronger ZR1 diff, redesigned stronger control arms - rotation control for HUD which appears crooked on earlier years and unfixable.. so much more. Mag ride cal (350 to add earlier than 19).
Look for a higher mileage 18 or 19. I think The RPO for the CCBs is J57? Non Z07 woth J57 option. That's the deal.

Im stuck between a few Z06’s in my area but not sure which one is the better buy. Ideally, when going used I aim to get the lowest miles but in this case one option has the Z07 package with the highest miles out of the three I’m looking at.
Opt 1: $67k // 13k miles // 2016 3LZ + Z07 // carbon ceramic brakes
Opt 2: $65k // 6k miles // 2017 2LZ // Stainless brakes
Opt 3: $69k // 2.2k miles // 2016 3LZ // Stainless brakes
I’m leaning more towards Option 1 because I do feel like I’ll track the car occasionally, I live fairly close to a race track as well.
However, I’m also considering the 2017 because of the improved cooling system.
In this case, what is the better buy? A loaded 2016 with fairly low miles or the 2017 2LZ?
appolgies if this was posted in the wrong section -
Rick conti has i believe 2 z06's left. Both A8. One a 2019 1LZ for 79k BRAND NEW and another is a 2018 2LZ for 69k (3000 miles!)
Ideally, you would want the newest one, not so much for what components are on it as the average consumer like us won't ever take these cars to even remotely close to it's limits so the difference between the average joe tracking a 2016 vs a 2019 is the same, but getting the newer year for more warranty left. Especially with the A8. Either one will overheat unfortunately. If you can get the manual. But i think you want the auto right? So if that's the case, get the newest one for warranty purposes.
But you have a trackhawk?? lol dude, you have an amazing machine already. I think your car is still worth more than the Z's you're looking at so i guess downgrading and putting money in your pocket is good. But my buddy has a trackhawk. He actually just got it. He traded his hellcat unforunately

But that car is incredible. I have never been in a car that launches that hard. And i been in many AMG's, my neighbors 911 turbo (although that is on par with the launch) and the trackhawk is insanely powerful. Almost tesla ludicrous mode like launch.
