Yes they are oem, and yes you can often buy cheaper if directly from a delco supplier, vs a dealer who put the delco parts in a GM box

Has anyone checked out Arnott Shocks? They rebuild “hi tech” shocks. I put some on our 2008 Tahoe. Back then, they didn’t do the magnetorheological shocks, but there’s a good chance they do now. It might be worth a look.

I had to replace mine at 100k miles.
I recommend just replacing them with new ones from an OEM supplier and moving on.
Its a crap shoot with used ones unless they are fairly new and low mileage.
