Default Launch control for modified vettes?

For any of you guys that have modified cars, 650+Whp and non-stock rear tire OD, do you know if the launch control still functions properly?

It will work, but no one uses it. Well shouldn't say no one, its seldom used by those who drag race.

Why not? I thought the whole point was that it is computer assisted and gives better 60' times. Are results decisively so much better when launched manually ?

While the launch control is fairly consistent, you can drive it better and beat it...when my car was 600whp I did an 10.98sec on a night when launch control was giving me 11.2s (Maple Grove). I like using it on the first pass to gauge track prep.....M7 car

Look up Prospeed AFI and MoTec. I've talked with Prospeed Autosports before and they're able to dial in an aftermarket traction control system and I believe a launch control setup made specifically for your car and power levels. It's $$$, though.

I've been trying to figure out the right way to launch my car. I just held the brake and punched it with traction control on and ran 10.8 twice, but I know the car has more in it.
