I used Sandisk 16GB SD card (SDHC) , I read here once that 32GB is the biggest you can use but I haven't try it. Also make sure you use the format function in the PDR.

You can put in bigger, just need to format it correctly so the SD card is usable.

I used the scan disk 32 GB. It worked right out of the box. You can use a bigger one, but you have to format it.

The slot is located in the glove box at the upper left corner.

put it in a computer, go to "this PC" to view disks on the pc.
right click on that disk
Format Card will be in the menu that pops up when you right click
Just select it and click "format"

Windows will not format a SD card greater than 32GB to FAT32.(it formats it to NTFS instead). You'll need a standalone utility to do that. I used a utility from "ultimate boot cd", which is a collection of utilities to create a bootable USB stick or burned to create a bootable CD-ROM. I'm using a 64GB SD card.

I use a 32GB, no issues, and it's in the glove box . I also see you can put an SD card in
the center console too, but I never tried that one (15 Z06) my 19GS
didn't have that in the center console but did in the glove box. Hey Bill, does your 15Z have that in your center console , and does it work ?

The one in the center console will not work for your PDR. The center one is for music. You have to use the slot in the glove box for the PDR.

64GB is OK, but you need to format the card FAT32. But this is a lot of memory and 32GB is plenty big.

On a side note...remember just 5 years ago these were $50. Now they’re $7 at WalMart and they don’t even lock them up anymore.
