Contact Tony (NorcalSS). His pipes are way better quality than most!

I am trying to decide also if its worth the install on a relatively stock Z06, just Haltech CAI, AWE X pipe and Borla ATak exhaust.

The NorCal down pipes added 20 SAE RWHP to my bolt-on 2015 Z06, no other changes.
But they also made the car VERY loud in sport or track exhaust mode. (That's OK by me, tour mode is still very quiet.)
And you will get CEL's, a tune will be required to turn these off, and the GM engine warranty will be voided.

Thanks for reply, not too concerned with CEL as I have an HPT tuners device for my Camaro and should easily be able to just turn the rears off or just use the 90 deg sims. Mine is a 2018 so the bumper to bumper is up with 2 years left on limited powertrain. The only thing I may do is sell / trade it when the C8 Z06 comes out / second year of the Z06

I have run a similar setup on my 2017 and now my 2019 z06, no cel codes.

For early 2017 and previous years, there is a potential issue with that setup with the maf not jiving with the actual flow you can get triggering a cel.

There are no rear o2 sensors to tune out for a c7 z06.

Is there not 4 mounts with up and downstream O2 sensors?

Correct, I already have the AWE pip that removes those. Just trying to make the decision if the install time and hassle of 02 sim or coding out the rear O2 worth it. I don't have access to a lift but have Qwik jacks which I hope would get it up high enough.
There seems to be 3 options now, Norcalss (ony via face book.ugh) AWE and now EOS online. Plus some used here and there.

I'd consider tuning out the rear o2 after doing something like headers. Done that on previous cars. Rear o2 is just a sanity check for primary o2 and cat efficiency. Once you get into mods that seriously affect the airflow like bigger sc, pulleys, cam, etc then the rear o2 becomes a hinderance.

yeah I just bought the new 2Pro HPT.
I am adding the 2650, down pipes and the flex sensor for E40 plus or minus. I will be happy with anything near 650 rwhp. Mine is a 2019 Auto. She has trapped 134mph, stock with tires so far in cold air.

Just ran in 83 degree air here in FL and she dropped to 128 mph. Dump track with no prep or traction...1.9 sixty. What a joke and waste of time.

Adding a 2650 magnuson for a horsepower target of 650? I feel like that would be a way slower car than an overspun 1740 if you are just going for 650whp.

True but having to cool down and ice between runs sux. I would rather waste the money on the big bricks

I probably shouldn't have said 650....I would be going for whatever I can get out of the stock fuel system. I have a 2019....From what i read 700 is about it.
Thx for the response.

That's where most of us 2019 Z owners are tapping out without meth or a cam. The beauty of the flex fuel sensor is you can just keep adding E85 until you start to see fuel pressure drop and that's likely to be 685-700 depending on the tuner's abilities. I did an expansion tank (CPR) to deal with the heat of the 2.3 pulley on the stock blower along with 2" LTs, 5" CAI (CPR), and DSX flexfuel sensor. I'm tapped out at E35 at 685/711. It's a fun street car which is where I use it 90% of the time and the expansion tank does a good job of keeping the coolant temp under 200 during spirited driving around town. On the track I don't add ice, just give it 10 minutes with the hood open and coolant temps stay under 230 over 7-8 runs. Works for me, ymmv. The maggie will have better street manners when launching from a light or the like but the 1740 will give you more torque which typically nets better times at the drag strip when prepped with DRs out back. I'd love to have the 2650 just couldn't justify the extra cost, it would have doubled what I spent for the same power output. If I ever go SPI that's when I'd add the 2650 and shoot for 850+ rwhp but I'll likely never drop another $20k on this car. There's only so much power you can use on the street and my car's about perfect there. Next thing you'll have to deal with is traction, lol...
