I would just run the basic DSX kit and be done with it. If you want to watch it on your phone, there are several generic scan tools that allow you to do that with a defined PID
I have it in my car and it is pretty awesome. Takes a few minutes for it to level off after mixing E85 in and the app even shows you where to find flex fuel.
DSX flex fuel kit + Fuel-It Blue Tooth plug and play module is the best way IMO. Slightly more pricy than using generic OBD2 scan tool but much cleaner and you aren't taking up your OBD2 port all of the time.
The blue tooth module plugs inline with the FF sensor under the hood. Then you download the fuel it app on to your phone. Load the app and E content pops up. No messing with custom PID's or OBD2 stuff.
