Hi, I have a c7 z06 (A8) and I bought a borla x pipe. When I received it I noticed it's not a direct bolt on (need to cut cats off old one and weld onto borla x pipe). Is there not a direct bolt on x pipe for the c7 z06?
If so what would anyone recommend as a good one. And not overly $$ like Billy goat (over 1k cdn)
Thanks to the epa hating freedom and anything remotely fun, corsa borla and others will not sell bolt on x pipes anymore that will delete the cats. Only way is to buy used when they pop up. Couple good reports lately about the speed engineering x pipe and it’s very budget friendly. They must not be big enough to be on the epa’s radar yet.

cheapest version of a double helix on the market. weld the center together if having a 1 piece setup matters. ive had it on mine since last yr zero issues

i didn't say cheapest, i said best priced. It has better quality ss and it's 1pc. Therefore, doesnt require welding. So, ya. It's definitely the best priced in my humble

since your talking pricing both are 249 and eos is free shipping so its better priced. both are 304 stainless so im not sure how you think one is better than other unless you have the wall thickness of both and can prove one is thicker. and the 2 piece gives you better adjustability in fitting and you only have to work with 1 half at a time instead of a full 4 ft or so section. no need for welding unless you want it that way.
ill stand by my statement . cheapest non rocket science catless x pipe on the market
yeah you got to be careful about the xpipes these days. hopefully you can return the one you got that requires modifications.
as mentioned if in market there are only a few now.
that ebay doesnt look bad, maybe make an offer for a slightly lower price.
the eos isnt bad at all, just another set of clamps to worry about overall, usually not a fan either of that however for the price id get over it. if u had a welder you could seal up that junction point.
