It has 18,000 miles and has had three owners. No accidents, according to the Carfax.
I am not even looking for a Z06. But I bought a blue 2016 Stingray Z51 M7 from Hendrick exactly one year ago. So my salesman thought of me and called me this morning. But when he said it is an A8, my interest diminished some. I love that exterior color. My Stingray still has two years left on the extended warranty.
If that's the going rate, then our Z06's are really holding their value. I paid that in 2017 for a used 2017 M7 convertible with 1200 miles.
From what I can determine, that $72,000 price is on the high side. It has had three owners. If I was going to buy a Z06, I would prefer an M7. I do like admiral blue, but the red seats make for a slightly odd color combo. I love red seats with a black or white exterior.
Going from a Stingray Z51 with 460 hp to a supercharged Z06 with 650 hp seems like a serious undertaking. The C7 Z06 does not seem like a sports car that just any body can get in and easily control.
Asking price is probably a couple thousand high, but not crazy. If you are going to sell yours and make a purchase I'd try for mid-high $60s. If you're going to trade, then the difference is what matters.

Good advice. Those wheels concern me. I do not know if they are original, and I do not care to gamble with cracked rims. Roads are horrible in Virginia. On my road alone, there are hundreds of potholes. I noticed on EBay that they are selling cracked OEM C7 Z06 wheels. “Just have them welded,” the seller advises.
