We had a rental today for a NY customer for his V3 where we set a new quickest and fastest record of 9.5 at 146.7 which was boost only with our SPI port injection kit!





I had a chance to run the ZR1 too with full ZTK aero. It seems that the aero costs about 6-7mph in the quarter was w.farmer and I had about the same 500 DA and similar 60' too. I'll get the wing and canards off for the next time, but overall, I was impressed with the car on just radials.

Sure does. Another 6mph is good for 9.9x for sure. If had had the bit to remove the wing with me, we would've found out yesterday 😉

W. Farmer was running consistent 109.xx at the 1/8th mile...do you think that in that short distance the wing really costs 4-5 mph at the 1/8th?
Just curious.

Check your facts for apples to apples. Farmer posted the stock tire result and for his car it is very close and 133mph trap his for the ZR1.

Well find out soon. The DA was about the same and my 60' was a blink better. I lost 4-5 mph w the APR Z06 wing on my C7 in the quarter and it ran similar times and speed N/A, but I don't recall the 1/8th difference.

Remember, W. Farmers car has the short wing.

w.farmers 137 mph was with front skinnies so that will help mph some. I don't think you are looking at 6mph difference between the high and low wing.

That's what I was thinking, at least maybe not at the 1/8th mile, though I would guess that beyond 125 or so the additional aero does have some effect as speeds increase, as we have seen from some of the top speed runs.
