Wow. That is insane. You'll be able to spin the tires all the way from one corner to the next.

What size pulley did you change to? How much more boost did you pick up?

I'm going to bet that the engine has been "tuned" but Katech is using an engine controls system other than OE.

Jason, am I right?

I would say they are using the LT4 ECM because they are only using DI injectors

Exactly how we are controlling the engine will remain proprietary at this time. We do have control of the calibration using this method so it has been tuned.

Was wondering from the other no tune threads why you couldn't use LT4 ecm then piggyback for the PI.

Most likely, its what they did, or went stand alone.

It looks similar to an E92 sitting behind the engine, but there is likely a separate piece controlling the bypass valve (it's just a throttle body).

Any loss of functionality for things like PTM?

This is controlling the engine only in a stand-alone crate engine application.

Why start with an SAE correction factor and then switch to STP?

The industry standard for engine dyno is STP. We showed SAE for the baseline to have a direct comparison to the 755 SAE factory rating and directly compare the increases due to dyno headers, air filter, and calibration.

Thanks Jason,

For comparison sake, what were the STP numbers for the baseline? SAE was 788/762, this would convert to what in STP? That way we can see the increases of the first mod using the same correction factor.

I'm not trying to be a "Richard Cranium" here, just wanted to see the increases using the same correction factor........

Did you just switch to e85 or was there a cam/pulley/exhaust change?

There was a pulley change on the last configuration. We describe the steps in the video.

No cam change...yet.
