Will an E-Ray stir your soul like a Z06 would?

I agree, and it's mostly about torque for me too.
I know I'm reviving an old thread, but after watching the January 17 reveal videos and doing more research, I'm concluding the ERay will definitely "stir my soul" even more than a Z06.
I want a Street Monster, with off-the-line acceleration, and a Grand Tourer with suspension that isn't overly stiff.
I don't do a lot of tracking, and the videos I've watched with the LT6 revving to redline have not impressed me. I realize that could be video sound quality (even though they were recorded by professionals), and the pops and gurgles I heard at MacMulkin on ERay deposit day were great, but I'm looking forward to the ERay electric motor whine at WOT complimenting the LT2 growl. In some videos, it sounds like a spaceship. I'll make my own to show you what I mean.
I hope everyone gets the Corvette they want. Let's hope we're all happy with our choices.

Awd/traction unlimited + Torque will rule the street, in the Eray.

Safety Car
E-ray is going to be a great car, and in many respects, more practical than a Z06. I won't stand a chance next to an e-ray come November when my tires never make it to normal operating temp, but an e-ray can put TQ to 4 wheels instead of 2. But will an e-ray stir my sole like my Z06? No. The Z06 is a wonderful car and such a fun toy when driven properly and the LT6 is allowed to shine. For the same rate of acceleration, the Z06 will be more engaging for me. It's kinda like going to the drag strip and running 11.50 in an automatic and then switching cars and running an 11.55 in stick. The 11.50 in the automatic was fun, but the 11.55 in the stick is more engaging.
Even though I have a Z06, I'm looking forward to getting to ride in, or drive in an E-ray.

I went with a C7 Grand Sport Coupe; will hit up a C8 E-Ray HTC, and will end my Corvette buying career with a C9 Z06 HTC. No more Coupes for me; can't stand removing and re-installing the roof as I have to on my C7.

I had a 2017 GS, awesome car, shitty transmission (8 speed with the dreaded vibrations). With 2 kids, I can't justify 110k and a second family car at this time. In 7 or so years, a gently used E-Ray will do the trick, and by then, the kids can drive themselves; I'll let y'all know if my soul gets stirred then.
