If and when I get an e-ray, you can bet I'll mod it

That was kind of a known thing with the LT4/LT5, with the low end missing a lot of oomph, and the high end being demonic and needing to be carefully unleashed or risk losing control.

That's why I've felt that the hybrid drive system was the perfect antidote for the C7's shortcomings--despite "electric" anything being an anathema to all the purists.

So it could create some "interesting" handling situations. It's all designed to play nice together in stock form, but if things are modded in ways other parts can't work as well with, it can make things a little odd.
Coming out of turns will be the interesting scenario. With the front wheels pulling the car out of the turn, it will apply X amount of torque for a given throttle input. Now that throttle input might be only 70% of what would be normally used on a stock e-ray because the supercharger is putting out so much more power. The result might be that the front wheels don't make all the torque that could be used in that situation.

I am also interested in a big power LT2 causing weight to shift off of the front end on a hard launch. I'm sure the front end has its own traction control so wheel spin won't be the issue, but I could see it making the AWD less effective for launching as one adds more and more power to the engine. Curious to see how that goes.
As long as the front wheels help pull the car at the instant of takeoff, I expect the total torque to the ground will increase. Having that instant pull that lessens the rear wheels breaking free is as important as putting all of the front power down. At least that's my speculation. And I'd further speculate that the front wheels will regain full traction by the 60' mark and then everything is on full boil to a 9 second run with a fairly mild properly tuned system and just some cup 2Rs on stock wheels out back.

This will be fun to watch.

THAT is the reason you put a Lingenfelter on an E-Ray. Lol

That blower whine combined with the (real or fake, don't care) electric motor whine is pretty crazy lol

I think his goal is to have the FASTEST Vette (0-60) for a substantially less cost, than any HYPERCAR. My guess .. less than 2.1 sec 0-60. What other HYPERCAR can do this? What other production car (slightly modified) can do this?

Lingenfelter - $20-$30k (could be more) + $170k - C8 vette = $200k LOL

I Love the idea.

What do you guys think?
