So these pics aren't mine.... but I found them in a facebook group with some discussion.... word is, "the rep said they were doing it within the limits of the drivetrain (No new clutches). He also said there was no piggyback ECU - so either Chevy gave them access or they cracked something…" Sounds like interesting info.... I'd also like to see the price!
Cicio has a 700 HP turbo system that works without hacking the ECU or having a piggyback. The C8 was wide band O2s and stays in closed loop mode except for startup or limp home.

Yeah... I'm aware of that.... this was a quote from a post...

Fair enough. Not everyone knows though apparently, otherwise the quoted poster would not have said it. My guess is that system will produce less that the 700 HP of the Cicio system since it has to drive the supercharger within the same fuel injector limit.
Looks like GM Authority broke the news 10 hours ago... Only link I could find in the past 24 hours...
The article describes Callaway as "a GM licensed specialist" and that sales will be through Chevy -- if that's the case, it seems possible that GM, through the license to Callaway, gave them ability to modify the engine controlling code.

This is similar to the way Roush does their tunes. Since they work directly with Ford, their tunes are flashed a bit differently and are also locked..... so no other tuner can really see their tune. Most people complain about how conservative the tune is, but I imagine that any tune would be better than no tune at all. What I like about this kit is the 3 year powertrain warranty....
On August 25, the Callaway Team presented the Corvette C8 supercharged development vehicle for display at the annual “Corvettes at Carlisle” event in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The public debut commemorated the 35th anniversary of the Callaway and Corvette relationship.
Callaway is taking deposits now for serialized production slots. In the coming months, final engineering, emissions compliance testing and performance validation will be conducted. Vehicle production is scheduled to commence in early 2023. Power, pricing and optional equipment will be announced when testing and validation is complete.
Supercharged Callaway Corvettes will be constructed at Callaway’s Connecticut and California facilities with an array of standard Callaway equipment and available options. They will be sold by a network of Callaway Authorized Chevrolet Dealers. Pre-owned 2020-2023 Stingrays are also eligible for conversion through Callaway’s “Second Chance” program.
As with all Callaway products, the supercharged Callaway Corvette will be backed by a three year/36,000 mile warranty which supplements the vehicles’ GM warranties. An optional five year/60,000 mile Callaway Powertrain Service Contract will also be available. Fifty-state emission compliance is also a feature of all Callaway vehicles.
For more information, call or text (860) 434-9002, or email info@callawaycars.com. Click the button shown below and reserve your early production slot with a refundable $1000 deposit.
Just need a little more detail regarding the "Second Chance Program " which is something new coming from Callaway. Also with the optional five years /60, 000 mile powertrain warranty. Just wondering what is criteria in order to be eligible?
Regarding the comment you quoted, RWHP dynos are notorious for What number would you like to see? Dial up the dyno and let's go...... Lots of variables, which no manufacturer uses. An engine cell and test standard are used, as mentioned. But this is the same ol' argument, every time a new platform comes out.

Mallet made overpriced underperforming cars Callaway still does.
The Callaway Ciocca Edition Corvettes receive Callaway’s SuperNatural LT2 engine upgrade with a new air intake and a custom throttle body that offers better breathing for the naturally aspirated LT2 engine. Helping to move the exhaust out of the car is Callaway’s center-exit Double D exhaust. Constructed of 304 stainless steel but weighing 40 lbs less than the OEM system, the Double D for the C8 Corvette has a unitary central acoustic chamber that provides the soundtrack for this exciting new Callaway special edition.
Callaway has developed a custom carbon fiber aero package for the Callaway Ciocca Edition. The aero package consists of an aggressive carbon front splitter with small wings on each corner and full-length carbon side rockers. Callaway’s carbon slot gap rear spoiler accentuates the C8’s sharp features while providing low drag and promoting clear air over the rear of the car. Callaway has also developed a unique carbon fiber rear diffuser assembly that highlights the Double D exhaust.
The most distinctive and key identifying feature of the Callaway Ciocca Edition is the special graphics package that will see Callaway Ciocca on a “ghosted” rocker stripe. The graphic starts small at the front of the car and expands as it follows the lower body lines to the rear. Badging on the car includes your choice of chrome or carbon flash emblems.
Callaway’s 9-spoke forged aluminum wheels offer plenty of curb appeal for the limited edition sports car as the Ciocca Edition wheels are finished in gold with a custom center cap design. The Callaway C8 rides on a 19″/20″ staggered setup with the car’s OEM Michelins from the factory. Not only do these wheels look great on the car, but they also help to reduce unsprung weight by 26 lbs.
Inside the cockpit, Callaway Ciocca Edition door sills and floor mats are added, while race-inspired billet aluminum pedals help to set the high-performance tone. The steering wheel’s horn cover is done in Alcantara with Callaway debossed over the cross-flags logo. A serialized interior dash plaque is also included.
Finally, each of the Callaway Ciocca Edition will also come with a commemorative car cover and two tow hooks.
The 2023 Callaway Ciocca Edition includes a serialized, leather-bound documentation package containing the Certificate of Authenticity. Buyers also receive the piece-of-mind as each is covered by Callaway’s 3 Year/36,000 Mile limited warranty. The price of the Callaway Ciocca Edition Corvette is $43,845 plus the 2023 Corvette,
$43,845 lol 😂.
Lots of show very little extra go for the ridiculous price of 43,845.00

What are they giving you a warranty on the documentation package ? The stickers ?? Exhaust or the air filter ? Act now on 44K the supercharged car will probably cost more 😂
