DAGreekNYC, how do you like your B2k? I'd like to hear about what it's like as an ownership proposition, esp. in comparison to a regular Stingray. Feel free to post it up here: good, bad or indifferent. Inquiring minds want to know!

I'd almost argue the opposite. Putting someone else's blower in the B2K might be the wake up call they need. Lol

Don't worry OkieVette84, they are getting ready to prepare to perhaps release an update in the near future provided supply chain disruptions don't impact their ability to forecast material shortages as they relate to aging infrastructure in their area.

looks great . The spoiler package and rims really make the car look so much better than it already did. Sounds great , performance with the weight savings and the exhaust feels more responsive
then My prior C8 albeit if I picked up anything it may be 10 ponies. I think the weight savings on the wheels make the most difference since I’m having issues launching with wheel spin where my prior c8 would hook and go . Waited for 4 months to get the car back from Callaway CT after car was shipped to them. I have slot CT 1 for the SC install so this is why I’m staying in but if i get stepped over like Fredo I’m out !

It took Callaway 6 months to fit new wheels, a body kit and an exhaust!? What the what... I would've lost my mind around 30 days.

I sure hope that they stick to the 2.5 weeks for the supercharger that they advertised.

Well if their time to fit a body kit, exhaust, wheels, sill plates, floor mats and a dash plaque is at roughly 17 weeks, what do you think?

My car is being built next week. I texted Callaway to ask if they would be ready when my car arrives. They responded that they would be and that they would have an update "very soon".

Default Probably not likely, But...

So, the Callaway Supercharger rollout has been behind schedule for some time now. Is it possible that they've been working with HP Tuners, who have been in the news lately due to their success in cracking and tuning the C8 OEM ECU? Lingenfelter and SuperCharger have partnered up with Trifecta who unlocks the stock ECUs and then provides them with a Canned tune for a very specific supercharger configuration. Some of those that have opted for a supercharger kit on their C8s are not very happy with the resulting performance; partially due to heat soak, partially tuning?

Because Callaway has been so tightly tied in with GM for so many years, I think it's very unlikely that they would go with a third party like HP Tuners to unlock the stock ECU, but ... if they rolled out an announcement of options for Stage 1, Stage 2 builds, etc. all enabled by carefully customized tunes that allow tweaking for even small changes in exhaust, etc., it might be a game changer for them.

Time will tell...

Were this the case, I find it improbable that it wouldn't have been included in HPTuners announcement propaganda.

Definitely not the case. Callaway has always worked closely with GM. The fact that there is even any speculation going on is more proof of how poorly Callaway has handled this product launch.

Edit: Also was there any news from the show they were at recently?

Something is strange. My refund went back on my cc at the end of April. Maybe they are having cash flow trouble.
I send my car to Boost District for the LFE700 package in 3 weeks.

Congrats! Will they be using the the Trifecta flash/tune or the HP Tuner approach?

Thanks.
They use whatever LFE does. I think they Fedex it to LFE and then it comes back.

LPE uses trifecta, but the tune I believe is Lingenfelter's design/engineering. Trifecta basically unlocks it. It will be interesting to see if HP Tuners OBD will allow for manipulation in a trifecta unlocked ECU, I would think so. be somewhat hypocrtical for Trifecta to unlock it, then relock it with some other kind of system... but... who knows. No one has posted yet, no one has tinkered and posted about it.

Makes me wish i was not out of state all month working. Looking forward to experimenting.

It looks like they are actually going to let Corvettes at Carlisle come around again without delivering a single customer car. At what point do they just admit there is a serious problem?
