Mid-Engine Design
I remember seeing this photo in a magazine about 25 years ago. I'm so glad I found it again online a couple days ago. After seeing all the boxy square shapes of the 80's, this was so refreshing to look at. Beautiful. Today it looks a little dated, but the curve of the hood down to the nose still looks good. Such an inspiring photo.

Yes, I do remember that one. The mid engine has been talked about for a long time and it's finally coming. My hope is that the styling doesn't resemble a door stopper

I think only the left side of the car was made and a 2'x6' mirror was placed behind it on the center line to make it look like a whole car. It's a reflection. So the second guy from the right that is missing his head, is a reflection of the guy on the right. The other two or three people that you see standing behind the car are actually reflections of people standing off camera to the right.
It wouldn't have to look like a door stopper wedge, capevettes. This '67 looks good. It's not a wedge. The front end of the Stingray Concept Car could be modernized and made less flat. Something like the third picture here. I can imagine a modernized C2 made into a mid-engine would look good. It would also look good as the next front-engine C8. There are so many possibilities that could be done. There needs to be more Corvette models to make all Corvette lovers happy. Expand the Corvette market also. Something for everyone.
