Well...as they say, rules are made to be broken. We have seen waivers issued many times for various things that were against the rules, in the name of the manufacturer staying involved. I'm sure if they wanted to field a new car in 2019, they could. As is, Labre pulled out of running the C7R in WEC, saying the chassis was no longer competitive in that series. I think they could make it happen if GM wanted it to.
