Although a little derivative, I think it looks very aggressive (a good thing IMO ).

OK, that there is funny.

Where did u get that BS about the mid engine Cadillac?

I'm a Cadillac guy and I know everything about their upcoming models. Including some inside info. Yes, there were some rumors. And there will be a Caddy supercar, but not before 2025 MY.
Would be very stupid to make an expensive supercar when u don't have a truly world class lineup.

Next car that Cadillac will show is the CT5(truly D-class car, no tweener).3/C/A4's competitor. Then XT6.

We need more details!
We all should KNOW what Nate may or may not have seen or heard if it was credible would not be for public publication.

Nate,

It sounds like your Vegas trip was quite an event! Thanks for sharing what you could on the ME with us. I can't wait to catch up with you after you get back.

Confused... Did I say something wrong? Sorry if I did but Nate posted his remarks voluntarily. I merely repeated them...

My comment that we need more details was generic...hoping for GM to release info or more spy shots.

According to Nate, GM clearly has indicated, promoted, inferred, that this new Mid Engined car is a SUPERCAR! That term is typically reserved for the top of the top of each manufacturer. Think Porsche 918, Ferrari La Ferrari, McLaren P1. These cars are the heavy hitters of each company. For GM to promote this car in that light that is very telling! Viewing Zerv's leaked thread, it's obvious that they have moved this car massively upscale. I'm standing by my 130K to 150K base price for this car. Corvette has traditionally competed with Porsche at a 2 to1 ratio and Ferrari at a 3 to1 ratio. Of course these were typically the 911 Turbo and the entry level Ferrari 458 and now 488 GTB. GM has raised the bar on this car and will compete performance wise with the competitors top cars. The design will be better than most of the hyper cars in my humble opinion, and the build quality standards will be up there as well. This is very exciting !!!

I agree that there "should" be a hood vent but the images shown for 20 sec "could" have been doctored to eliminate too much detail...
Also some angles do not clearly show a hood vent on some production cars.

Mmmm. That's beginning to look a lot like a Vette. Gives me some hope. Thanks.

Here is a quote that GM actually said in Corvette brochure.

"Long story short: the Z06 is a supercar"

Only thing is that GM was talking about the C6 Z06.

Long story short though is that this new ME truly will be a supercar and not just advertising jargon. That's not to say that the C6 ZO6 was not a helluva car back in 2006. GM has moved forward big time with this new car!

Ya but you read way too far into that comment. They aren't going to more than double the entry level price point for the next generation corvette. That's ridiculous.

The front hood reminded me of a lotus. Front bumper cover reminded me of the 2019 ZR1. Time to go party at the reception. If I bump into Brian Sweeny, US VP of Chevy, or other GM Execs, I will ask some questions and report back!

put up pictures then I will believe you!

Point is that GM can be loose with it's 'words'. To them every new generation Corvette is a 'supercar'.

'Supercar' kind of looses it punch if it's overused.

Absolutely will double the price. The C6 ZR1 had window stickers over 120K at the end of the C6 generation. We now have C7 ZR1's at 150K. You are delusional if you think the Mid engine will be half the cost of the ZR1. Read this to see what many on this forum gleaned from Zerv's Leak Thread.

No matter how many times this has been pointed out, some folks just don't want to hear it.

"Absolutely will double the price"

and I will absolutely resurrect this thread when the car is released and quote this comment again to show how ridiculous it was just for fun

Good Luck with that. I've had a nice email chat with Team Corvette Race Director Doug Fehan about this very car.

And what does Doug have anything to do with pricing on the production car?
