Default question?

Will there be a stingray, grandsport,zo6, and zr1 versions and will there be c7s still available? Also, will Chevrolet ever go back to front engine vettes?

My guesses: yes, yes, yes, yes, only leftover '19s, and no.

I am in for the Z06 version in RED. So will have to wait 2+ years, that's okay.
This is gonna be a heck of a Corvette. I will make this an every day Corvette.
There is a good hunting ahead for all of us.

Maybe lots.
Im getting his first 2019 ZL1 , have Sept 19 as build date. I’ll be modding it to 1000 hp range. The C8 will probably be my last performance car. I’ve promised my wife I won’t mod it.
Told that lie before.

Absolutely no way it comes in more than a 911 GTS for a base model. More like Cayman GTS money, and that's at the most. Sales would plummet.

If the C8 is going to seen at the Detroit show in January 2019, when will GM announce that?

I don’t think price gouging (if it happens) will last long. I was offered 10% off any C7 on the lot by a local dealer six months after the first 2014 C7’s started hitting the lots (March 2014). I picked out a 2014 C7 Torch Red Z51 3LT, MSRP $70K and paid $63K out the door.

Red is my favorite color on Corvettes. Red or that steel gray color

Haven't seen too many Boxsters with V8s.

I would like to get one but I'm always dubious on any new model's 1st year. Maybe I'll hang out till the 2nd model year and see how the popularity / dealer premium's and 1st year depreciation shakes out.

I'll consider one very seriously. But it has to meet the following criteria before I will step in. Enough storage. If not? Will stop right there. If it fills the bill there it better look real good. If those two conditions aren't met, then I smell a new Z06 in my future.

I'll be waiting for the DOHC V8, which I hope will come in a 5.5L naturally aspirated version with a 8500 rpm redline. But I will gladly settle for the Corvette version of the Blackwing 4.2TT DOHC V8.

What I really want is the hybrid C8 "E-Ray," but I don't know if I can wait that long. Maybe GM will surprise us and it will be the 2nd year ZO6 C8?

I'm considering one as of now if it's got enough storage space as well. I'm fine with them only offering an automatic transmission option
