Coming back from Corvette's on the Rockies this weekend we stopped for coffee & gas at a little place in Silverton. There parked was a relatively small SUV (one size smaller than a Tahoe) all wrapped up like the ME's on the web are. We walked in and saw 4 engineer types, one even had a pocket protector. I asked where the ME Corvette was? The response was the standard 'neither confirm or deny' answer. One of them laughed and said he heard that there were a couple of 'unicorns' running around in the area though.

When we were leaving the cashier told us there were two little sports cars there about an hour earlier, that were all wrapped up but she didn't have any idea what they were.

The story of my life..... missed 'em by an hour!

I thought these were old pics. They sure look similar to the ones we have seen previously. The wait is killing me, lol.

Hard to tell for sure but I don't think that is going to pass the "two golf bags test."

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Looks good and with a lt1 derivative powerplant i expect ferrari 458 like performance from the standard model.

beginning pricing about fove grand more than a similiarly equipped c7 z51 or grand sport makes me smile as i look to own one.

thanks for the heads up

The first shot in the story shows that PacMan is on the street car as well. The third reveals the door touch-pad inside the scoop.

Wish I knew where they are all the time. Was in Summit County Colorado for few days and could find neither the proto's or the supporting equipmentI just a few days ago). I will try more as i love the drive up to the hills in my other car(not close to a sports car, but stage 3 so that ZR1 protecting the will b very surprised.........if I find them). Guess I'll head up agian, but there are a lot of Oktoberfest things going on at many typical hangouts in the high country over the next few weeks...
