FWIW I like the side and rear of the new Chevy truck... it's massive. I also understand the industrial design, but it just looks giant and robotic.
I agree that the new Ram is gorgeous.
Trucks shouldn't be massive or have bulges everywhere. The early 2000s Ford (about 03') and Chevy (about 02') were the last time they got it right. The new Ram is 'ok'. Not great but much better than what Ford or Chevy are doing at the moment. The new Ranger looks ok. The last great Ram was around the 05' model. The European version of the Ranger Raptor is probably just about the best looking truck that exists (hint: no chrome).
I know a lot of people like the C7 (I'm not one of them). But this makes a lot of sense. To me, every mistake that was made with the Aztek is mirrored in the C7. It has no design cohesion and what you see makes you want to avert your eyes.

Agreed.
Some of these newish trucks are just ungodly looking.
Here is what my last truck looked like:

Wow, you don't mind taking the minority viewpoint....

That would be an interesting design, a C7 morphed with an Aztek.
Gen 6 Camaro SS, 1LE and ZL1s are by far the best looking muscle cars and worth every penny.
Heres a pic of my 2017 2SS.
just for reference. Cant wait to see the C8 next year.
Car manufacturers must be having a “who can design the ugliest vehicle” contest. What’s up with all the oversized catfish grille mouth on so many cars?

If we are going to go all bulges and biceps, this is a much prettier car...and faster.
Though for my money I would buy this elegance in an Armani suit known as Weissman...if they would let me.

Let us never forget...this once existed...hopefully it is dead by now.
Both are growing on me... idk why I hated the new Camaro nose when it was revealed. Now I think it looks modern (even though it looks like the current dodge charger lol)

I agree with you. I've owned seven Corvettes so I'm clearly not biased against Corvettes, but to me most C7s have some bad angles. And all the vents, tall spoilers, squared off rear end etc look awful to me. The only version that I actually like is the base stingray with the body color rear spoiler. The rear spoiler on the widebody versions looks goofey, and the ZR1 is a total abortion.
