If its like the DCT in the 458 its right up, left down, both at the same time neutral. The McLaren is different though.

If this is it, its too complicated looking for my taste. For a sports car, I want simple and to the point.

If you guys think that interior looks nice you would lose your minds if you saw a garden variety C-class Mercedes interior.
This looks pretty cheap to me - that 2 spoke steering wheel is especially atrocious.

Regarding price - please refer to the post I made over a month ago, and over 9 times before that, on the original "169k" thread.

9 posts where I explained that there will be THREE variants and the confirmed $169k was most likely for the 2nd variant released shortly after the base model. I already stated 9 times that this price is most likely for the mid-tier GT, but even so, I still believe the base variant will have an entry of $105-115K. The keyword is believe. It's just my speculation that the base will cost low 6 figures ($105-115K) based upon the mid-tiers confirmed $169k price point and other factors. If the GT will cost $169K, what on earth will justify a $100k price hike (based on peoples hopes of the base costing $60-70k). The mid-tier variant will be released much quicker than the z06 was released post stingray reveal. Why? I don't know. Is there a possibility of two corvettes, FE & ME? Sure. Maybe? No? Who knows....
Base: $105-115K (MY SPECULATION)
Mid: $169k (CONFIRMED)
Halo: $250K + (MY SPECULATION)
Does the Base c8 feel like a car worthy of a $105-115k price point? I can tell you, yes, absolutely. Last edited by Zerv02; 12-10-2018 at 10:14 PM.

Looks like there is a button in front of the control that almost looks like it represents a front axle lift??? If that were true, it would mean the car will be low but still useable with the lift. It also means the car won't be $70K

Racer
no way...this supports an expansion both a front engine and rear engine models...they did a huge plant expansion...if they were going to $170K halo vehicle the volume would have been low enough to do in the existing plant with out the build out

Ever sit in a prototype car? Things not matching is the rule, not the exception. If I am testing the transmission, what seat is in the car doesn't really matter. Likewise, if I am testing the interior, specific brake packages matter. Odds are all those panels and seats were covered anyhow, and the covering peeled away to sneak these pics by someone not authorized, hence why identifying locations and numbers are blurred. OR, they were taken by someone authorized, and blurred to make them look like "spy" pics for plausible deniability.

A fact is easily verifiable. I don't see where the price is verifiable, whether that number be the base, mid, halo, or just made up. Also, as an owner of a car that easily tops $100k with options, how exactly are you saner than Corvette own

First thing I did was change out my C6 paddles to a right-up left-down , drove me crazy
And of course the C8 will be right-up left-down

The C-Class interior is pretty cheap, certainly cheaper than this looks in my opinion. The basic c-class has hard plastic everywhere and it doesn't even have leather seats. Now if you had said S-Class I would agree.

Looks nice, but doesn’t look any nicer than my Macan’s Interior. It is the top level interior. Leather wrapped everything, visible stitching, Alcantara headliner and pillers. Car stickered for 88k.
