P.S. sorry for the thread derail. I keep my mouth shut now.
And what I failed to add to my above post was also the use of a C3 style verticle window that is retractable with or without the T-Tops off.

There should definitely be a vertical retractable window on the folding hardtop but not the sloped back coupe.

I’m actually hoping those pics of the suspected ME Coupe with the C7 style but ventilated hatch is fake thus no sloped back. Instead there is a horizontal windowed cover over the engine. Common to both Vert and Coupe to keep it below $169,000. We will, I hope see soon.

A rear window is not required but a rear view mirror is required.

Did you read the link?

Those who aren’t keen on the new innovation can simply “flip” the mirror down, reverting to a traditional rearview mirror experience.
and because it's a regulatory requirement.

Of course I read it. Twice to get the full gist of it.

And how awesome T-tops would be with it! I may just head back to motorcycles, that BMW S1000r looks good, so does the Duc Monster 1200s.

Yep, and when Zora turns over in his grave he will put a hex on all those cars!

Another reason to wait one year for the C8 Grand Sport (Manta Ray or whatever name) version in addition to getting a fatter tire than the rear 305's on the cars in Germany!

PS: The Ford GT with 647 hp has 325 section width rear tires! That is in the right direction!

Remember the split window design car that was out before the final C7 design I was hoping it would look like that concept car

Looking at Chaz's latest renderings you can see that a split window overlay would look great over the sloped rear glass window. A centerline bookmatched carbon fiber detail would look awesome. And with the new digital rear view streaming camera there are no vision obstructions.

Quick Reply: Could there be a Split Window Detail ?
