Split window "Stingray tail" design on seat back?
Just noticed the shape on the seat back from the latest Carscoops shot looks a lot like the shape people are imagining through the camo on the rear hatch on the ring car shots. Thoughts?

That's a pretty BIG opening between the headrest and the top of the seat back. Anyone else notice that? I prefer the dual slots look for racing shoulder harnesses like in the current Competition seat option.

See shape at top of blank panel and then at very bottom. Matches the seat if you fill in the middle.

Tool, I'm with you on this one. I also think there is a design correlation between the two. Corvette designers have been doing this for a long time and they are very good at this kind of design integration.

The actual rear glass area is very small already two divided down the middle would make two very small basically unusable window slots with a dividing post right down the middle of the window where any of you from the rearview mirror would be unnecessarily blocked. Even though there are cameras and side mirrors to see Behind, the back window would be nothing more than a design element. Nothing wrong with that Per se But I don’t see GM doing this.
That’s not to say that someone won’t offer an aftermarket replacement rear window with a divider or interesting louvers or ports ; )
… But anything is possible… I guess we’ll see soon, I hope!

im having heavy dejavu right now... i swear ive read this thread a while back already.... is this a clone thread to another thread?
And yes, i agree it is a split window. The middle stripe is a vent, and all around the exterior of the glass is also a vent.

First why would they do a split window ME, GM please change the entire design of the ME to match a car that only had a one year production cycle & was mainly popular because its rarity.
Remember Zora hated the split window design, he had it killed after a year. Details about the split below.
