M4 is $70K with manual trans. True, you cannot cross-shop it against the C8 which does not offer a manual.

On facebook, it took me like 2 hrs to scroll all the way back to september 2013. But the first truck arrived to kerbeck around september 20 2013. I remember seeing my first in vegas at the end of september.

First C7 was delivered to Rick Hendrick on Friday, September 19, 2013; the first regular C7 customer received his in Florida the next day, friend of mine name Keith. His was the first C7 I got a ride in, the following week.

How could your dealer not know about the June 7th deadline to sign up to sell the C8 Corvette? On May 1st during the monthly GM podcast to dealers, it was announced.

CORVETTE DEALER ENROLLMENT – June 7th deadline

All dealers that wish to stock, sell, and service the Next Generation Corvette need to agree to the ‘Dealer Corvette Participation Letter and Acknowledgement’ inside of Online Enrollment Forms in GlobalConnect

AGREED! Geez, even my WIFE knew about the dealer timeline and requirements. If your dealer didn't know, you need a new dealer who's in touch!

If memory serves (and it may well not!) C6 production ended mid-july with a 60 day plant closure for retooling and C7 production begain mid-September with first deliveries shortly thereafter. I would imagine they would repeat that schedule here. The question is whether the plant would need to be closed for longer than usual due to the change to mid-engine chassis and hydroforming equipment.

The plant is still closed for tours, so I'm wondering if the turnaround is going to be quick from C7 to C8. Do you remember what the plant closure was between the C6 and C7?

I remember him posting about getting that car... Cyber Grey was a great color on C7s.

As to this thread’s question, when is the last C7 going to be built, this is what we know now.

If the c8 offers no manual and I can get one with the BMW, an M3/4 will be cross shopped. I’ll take the slower car with the stick anyway.

Give it up.
The C6.5 ( C7 ) is dead, and is the last front engine Corvette.
This thread, and people than can't accept the DCT-only C8, belong in the C7 forum.

Then why do you continue to troll the DCT-only C8 forum?

Wrong.
You're the only thing that's going to be history, while we are enjoying out DCT-only C8s.

I've heard of some C7 orders having TPWs as late as the week of 8/3 so far.

I think you should just get the BMW now as the C8 won’t have one.

Why would GM stop building C7s when the C8 is not production ready? There is no date for C8 availability and none will be announced on 7/18.
C7 is all Corvette has to offer so there is no point in stopping production.

Kerbeck said yesterday, in a thread in C7 General, that production would continue into August.

But the C7 was revealed in January 2013. It didn't hit the street until Sept. So it could also mean it wont be out until early spring. We still haven't seen the "real" car, just concepts. Everyone is speculating on this. Originally the end of c7 orders was supposed to be mid may, now from what i heard is in august? Nobody knows.

GM knows, but it is not saying. No dealers are pitching C7s as the last of the manual transmissions either. Gee, I wonder why.

C7 is all Corvette has to offer so there is no point in stopping production.
Which is why I think C7 production will continue through September, followed by a two month shutdown and a December C8 startup.

So, why Kerbeck is telling people no more ZR1 orders?
