You might have seen those on any sixth generation Corvette .
For example...,A red C6 Z would have those round lights...along with the ability to sip on fuel at highway speeds and lap on notorious American race tracks.
Not to mention that it’s lighter then any C7.

C6 Z06 or a C6 ZR1 or maybe one of these(for example) doing 230+ MPH on Hwy 75 in Sun Valley. ID.. You just can't trust those four round taillamps. No telling what kind of a car they will show up on.

On a positive note, I believe the C8 is going to deliver.

Going to be plenty of growing pains in the first year me thinks.

Then I wonder why anyone would add such a horrible paint design on a 2m dollar car?
4 round taillamps might be the best feature on the exterior of the car.
When it comes to 4 taillamps hard to beat the clean design and the size on the mid year Vettes with the chrome bezel and housing.
I will say the Bugatti interior is just drop dead gorgeous probably the nicest I have ever seen for a sports car. Nothing but the best the best on the material selected in the interior design.
Watched the show on Super Cars how there made and time and craftsmanship on interior was incredible.
I am hoping for a big improvement in quality on the C8 over the C7 interior and GM finally gets rid of the hard plastic low kick panels and center console.
There a lot less visible interior on the C8 so hopefully they can spend a little more in the selection of materials used on the interior seeing how it's so much less visible space than seen on the c4 trough c7 where the cargo area was part of the over all interior.

You will be very hard-pressed to find anyone who has owned both C6 and C7 who will say the C7 was not "a worthy upgrade." I owned a C6 Z51 and C6 Z06, and have had two C7 Z51s. The C7 is a far better car, all things considered.

That Bugatti sure is fast. But I cannot say I find the body style very attractive. Not a big fan of the horse shoe grill.

I agree, It's hard to find fault with the C2.

But yeah, the styling on the Bugatti has never impressed me either. Then again, you're not buying a car like that because of styling, you are buying it to make a statement. Which, I also guess hideous paint jobs do.

I'd still chose a C6 ZO6 over a C7, cost aside.
At least we all should be able to agree on the C8, without the need to put aside your bias as a C7 owner who is defending their purchase.

The C7 was not an upgrade to the C6 ZO6, especially when you consider the cost for one to move to the C7. I'd still chose a C6 ZO6 over a C7, cost aside. At least we all should be able to agree on the C8, without the need to put aside your bias as a C7 owner who is defending their purchase.
2014 C7 Stingray Z51 MSRP $53,795
2017 C7 GS 2LT MSRP $69,450
Time on Car & Driver magazine Lightning Lap at VIR:
2017 Grand Sport Z07: 247.1
2014 Stingray Z51: 2:53.8
2011 Z06: 2:53.5
Time marches on. The C8 will be better than the C7 by similar amounts.

650 hp vs 505 hp
Better electronic and navigation system
Superior seats in c7 vs c6
Better quality of material in C7 vs C6 interior
M7 vs m6
M8 vs m6
Stiffer frame on C7 vs C6
I guess I don't understand how one could not consider the C7 and upgrade from C6 just like C6 was an upgrade over C5 and C5 upgrade over C4.
I can understand if you prefer c6 styling over the C7 as we all have different taste.
I owned a C6Z06 3lt and after one year of ownership I could no longer enjoy the car as it has a rental car quality interior with terrible seats and poor quality hard plastic all over the interior.
The C7 interior is much improved 3lt vs c6 3lt.
I hope that the C8 will make the same leap in quality of used in the C8 interior vs the C7 interior.
The Vette interior still lags far behind Porsche / Audi / Acura / MB / Lexus interior in quality of material and switch gear.
Again I hope GM closes that gap so the interior is world class.
But I also know GM is put in a tough spot by its customer base who expect performance on level with cars costing 2 or 3 x the price of the Corvette so GM has little choice but to skimp on material quality to keep cost down.
I would live to see GM bump the entry price on the C8 10k to 15k so they could install a interior that it should have . But alas read CF comment and CF membera want Super car level of performance with all the tech and goodiea at an entry price of 62k
So we will.be stuck with corner being cut and it won't be performance cuts but fit and finish cuts and use of lessor quality materials on the interior as the CORVETTE community seems OK with a less than world class interior .

Plus, I have enough seat time in multiple C7's, and knowledge, to know it was a wise decision to skip the entire C6.1 generation.
I don't have the time, or interest, to refute that last few posts, especially when we all are aware of the facts regarding C6 vs C7, and all the C7 issues. (tire disparity, overheating issues, transmission issues, aero issues, etc, etc etc)
The C8 is finally the worthy upgrade to the C6, that the C7 should have been.

16 Vettes and counting…..
No thank you. Thank God I refused delivery of my C7 after insisting on testing if before completing the paperwork. That A8 immediately proved itself to be garbage, like every other GM torque converter transmission before, and after. Exactly why all of my Corvettes since 1997 have been purchased with manual transmissions.

So if all your Corvettes since 1997 had manuals, why were you purchasing an A8 C7?
Of the course the C6 had no issues............except for the tupperware interior, the harmonic balancer, airbag warning light from wire under the seat, loose rear axle nuts, rattles everywhere, bland styling.....and whatever else I'm forgetting. Yeah, real collectible you've got there.

Guy says people who own the car are “defending” vs talking about something they know about. Sounds like a malignant version of The Gizz. Except the Gizz owns a c7.
Raidstein only has had “seat time”.

I know, SUCH garbage 🙄. The C7 is better in EVERY performance metric than all versions of the C6. And no doubt the C8 will probably do the same to the C7.

what is legitimate? I had a c6 and have had 2 c7's (Stingray and Z06) and the upgrade to the c7 from the c6 was huge. I'm sure the c8 will also be an upgrade.

What did the C7 GS/Z07 do at the Ring, on newer tech Cup 2 tires and on a faster(ie: repaired) track? I'm having a problem finding it(or any C7)on the list.
