Default C8 convertible reveal?

I am assuming (I know, I know) that the 7/18 reveal is going to be the coupe only (based on C5/C6/C7 reveals). Does it make sense to reveal the C8 convertible at the LA Auto Show November 22nd?
What other big auto shows happen in the last quarter of the year?
Thoughts?

I remember seeing the first C5 convertible at Carlisle in Aug 1997. Kerbeck had the only one on display in their tent and it was sold. Would love to see it unveiled there. Would be about a month after the C8 reveal, so maybe.

I first saw the C5 Convertible Sept 12, 1997 here in Springfield, MO. Dick Almond had a bunch of then touring the country visiting the dealers. He has them lined up Red, White, Blue, Red, White, Blue, Red, White, Blue etc whether driving down the Interstate or driving through the towns they were stopping in.

Local dealer made a big deal out of it with free B-B-Q , drinks, etc.

With just a few Corvette convertibles with him, a whole lot of people all over the USA got to see them in person without having to drive many miles to a big Corvette show(or a tiny event in California).

I started a poll a week ago asking the same question. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...eparately.html

The 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe was revealed in Detroit on January 13, 2013, followed by the 2014 Stingray Convertible in Geneva on March 5, 2013. Do you think we'll see a similar reveal of the C8 Coupe and C8 Convertible on separate dates in separate locations, or will GM reveal both this time due to the relatively short time between the reveal and the end of C7 production and major upcoming Corvette marketing events such as Corvettes at Carlisle and the 25th Anniversary Event at the National Corvette Museum, both in August?

I agree but it's a way to draw it all out. They could always do a repeat: LA auto show is in late November, 2019.It is, but I'm just kidding.

June 2020 would be way late.... I'm hoping it's end of this year so I can order one when my spot comes up. I'd like to be driving it by next spring/summer.

C5, C6 & C7 convertibles were very different visually from the coupes, for the coups were hatchbacks. The C8 coupe and convertible are almost same car visually, with the likely exception of the glass over the engine of the coupe. Because of this, I would not be surprised if both cars are at the reveal. Furthermore, since the C8 has been delayed for so long, I think there is a decent chance that they both go on sale at the same time. Just a guess on my part.
