Need to see the whole car to form an honest opinion, but c'mon GM...

Spent 5 mins in Photoshop doing a quickie color swap before bed, don't crucify the quick masking!

No matter what color you show it in I'm not feeling the spoiler, those tail lights or the shape/placement of the exhaust tips.

16 Vettes and counting…..
So it would appear that the ridiculous spoiler is actually for real. I think we're in for quite a disappointment.

I added a license plate. It looks ridiculous but I'm not sure if the size is right due to how massive the license plate detent is. I got the perspective as close as I could and lined up the holes on the plate with the holes on the bumper, so..

Be patient. Hopefully it’s just a really bad perspective from an extremely low angle. You can only get this view while almost laying on the ground. Standing up it will look very different.

And that my friends is why the C2 and early C3 will be the very best looking Vettes ever made....0

Like most. Im going to have to see it, in person. It looks ok, to me. Im not stunned. I like it in the green photoshop, but it may also be amazing in white. Of course, they couldnt get us a side shot of the car. The most controversial part of it.

I like the C7 overall, and the C7GS/ C7Z look awesome with the wider fenders, but from day 1 and even today, I still think the rear end looks so blah. The space between the taillights is such a slab ***, with a hard line splitting nearly 50% of the bumper by the "rear diffuser" area.
Now looking at this "leaked photo," it seems like the team wanted to address the dead space between the taillights and decided the license plate and more angles would do well. However, now that I'm seeing it, I actually prefer the C7. Putting the plate between the lights in such an angular hole, on top of an already busy design, it's just a bit much. There's so many facets, and crevices, and angles, which can look good, but altogether with that tacky *** spoiler, those tragically dated exhaust tips....it's not a good look.
I haven't flip flopped on my opinion regarding the C7 rear end, cause I still think it's not good overall. But between that and the C8, I'll opt for a C7 rear. Now this has zero bearing on my opinion for the entire car, and I'm not sitting here thinking the C8 looks like trash, just because I don't like what I see so far. If it's like the C7, maybe I'll grow to like the rear because I like everything else about it. I would buy a C7GS today because I really love that car despite the rear, so my fingers are crossed I feel the same regarding the C8 despite its rear end.
