$64,999 base 1LT
Hi,
I believe 80% chance base starts at $64,999 or so and rises to increase like C7 did in first several months to become $66k-67k . I will be shocked if base is above $70k at release!!!!

I know I tried several dealers in DFW (including Classic which I think is like number 3 or 4 in terms of Vette sells), they did not and could not get an allocation (talked to them several times from late March through May). Seems to me that Chevy specifically limited the number built.

Agree....GM did the same thing in 2015 with the C7. However, discounts will kick in year 2 so I believe individuals will get the car for less despite the price bump if they wait for a few months after initial introduction.

That's not how it went with the C7... the folks who got them early enjoyed them 2 years and could sell for $0 loss.

Are you speaking from personal experience. The ones who wanted a Z51 in 2014 had to pay $10K over in most locations and they took a bath. I purchased my 2015 with GMS pricing and got a $10K discount. Shortly after introduction of GMS pricing GM rebates exceeded GMS. You are totally off base. I lived those years and participated in the frenzy.

The small bump in price occurred at the same time GMS was introduced. Financially, it is best to wait and purchase after the initial feeding frenzy. I am also debating about buying a new 992 Porsche and it’s the same story. Dealers and rebates get more aggressive after year 1. By then the must have first at a premium guys have purchased.
