You should see the vw Gti color book, it would make your head spin, there’s over 100 colors, why doesn’t Gm do something new like this, and they want younger buyers?? It will never happen, I hope there quality got better too!!

Obviously I'm bias......but for those that like ORANGE I maintain
that INFERNO ORANGE was THE BEST EVER (Orange)
as I always get compliments and positive comments, especially
when the SUN is hitting that (very fine) Gold Metallic flake that is
part of the mix....

Just regular old Black.
“Your coin features Black. Unchanged since the 1977 third-generation Corvette, this classic color needs no description and has no need for change. Because let’s face it, “mysterious” is defined by a Black Corvette.”

All of the colors on the coins are matte finish, nor do they have the metallic properties that the GM paints colors have.

How difficult would it have been for them to offer Synergy Green or Black Rose? Hoping that rapid blue is similar to the Nassau Blue from the C5. Other than that it's just a bunch of safe boring colors. Not exactly something that will grab attention.

People always clamor for crazy colors on internet forums... then they go buy white, silver, and red, and some black. Statistics drive the color selections and GM knows what people talk about vs. actually buy. They don't need some crazy color to sell the car or advertise it and I don't think they are up to offering a "paint to order" option like Viper or Porsche. I think they struggle enough already getting the paint acceptable on the cars as-is. Painting a mass produced composite-panel car is tricky. The Vipers were basically hand painted and then wet sanded and buffed like a custom show car. The Porsches are more metal content which is easier to paint as well (If anyone cares, it's because they can use electrostatic charge to make the paint flow to and adhere to the panel better and more evenly. This is very hard to do with composites).
