Unfortunately they wouldn’t let anyone put the roof on. They were even resistant to letting us close the doors. The person who sat in it before me was denied a door close. I requested and was granted (perhaps I’m more intimidating, lol). It was weird.

I disagree.. the car is better for people with long legs and shorter torsos. with a 36" inseam you should have 2" more legs and 2" less torso than SocalC7. If you fit under the b-pillar you'll have massive room.

WHATEVER. Dumbest thing ever.
I went ahead and closed it. What was he going to do- throw me out of the car?
It's a very critical part to making sure you fit.
So what I'm noticing is that many of us with long torsos (>6'2, <34" inseam) can fit it we DON'T rest our head against the headrest. On short trips, we probably keep our head tilted forward a bit, so that should be ok.
However, for longer 3-4 hour freeway trips (e.g. sitting in bumper to bumper traffic in OC or LA)- I tend to put my head on the headrest.

They tried that same thing with me "You can't close the door."

I'm 6.3 215lbs with average torso and 34-36 inseam depending on the pants. I can sit comfortably in my C7 with a helmet.

Geez, those above pics looks really tight to me. His knees are about on the dash and with the roof on it is way too close for my taste. I am 6’7” and weigh about 190 with a 34” inseam. I can’t see me fitting in this thing at all.

Added this youtube video to the OP 6'5" guy... emphasizes that you have to be ahead of the b-pillar.

6' 3, 311 pounds. I fit in my C7, but it feels like sitting in a laundry basket. 42 waist 34 inseam. Let's see how the C8 goes. I've about completely recovered from a back injury I sustained about 2 years ago, which helped me gain about 60 pounds. So, by the time the C8 is mainstream, I hope to be back to the 240-250 I was at, before all of this started.

SO, I am happy to report that I very easily fit into the C8 corvette with room to spare.
I just left Atlantic Chevrolet. I am 6'2" 235 lbs. inseam is 34
It was much roomier inside compared to my C7 . The C8 has more room inside for knees.
And like everyone else said also, the seats are amazing comfortable. Big improvement over the C7. Sitting in the seat felt like a very supportive comfy place.
I estimate that anyone up to 6'4" should fit no problem, BUT may need to recline the seat back by moving the base of the seat forward.
There IS for sure more forward to back cabin length.
When I sat inside the "roll over" hoop was way under my head.
I am VERY very happy after sitting inside.

OH, additionally.......,
There were actually quite a few tall big guys at the tour display today. In fact all of the tall guys over 6'2" seemed concerned about fit, since that ( 6'2") is usually the cut off max height for other mid engines platforms from Italy. I spoke to two other guys that were even taller than me, they both said ( and obviously were above me ) they were 6'4" and they both easily fit inside AND with room to spare above their heads. They both also confirmed that they felt that they had plenty of room to spare. One guy was slim and the other guy was a younger 20something kid that was stocky and broad chested with big arms.
Both said plenty of room inside. I agree.
So HAPPY !

I tried again at Connell today just to be w tea sure, and my hair grazes the halo (6’3” with 34” inseam). Had to bring the seat back more vertical to move head just in front of the halo. Will add my videos above soon.

Definitely a side effect of the 36” inseam. Shorter torso from seat to roof.

Ooooops. Just realized my inseam is 34... ( 36 is waist). Sorry will revise previous posts. Wifey pointed out the error, she buys my pants.

Tested the cockpit at Connell today. 6’3”, 222 lbs, 34” inseam, 44L jacket. Had no problem with head clearance. Helmet would not be an issue. No problem with legs, actually moved the seat forward one or two inches, knees clear of dash, Wife and I both fit fine in the pax seat as well.

Saw a post that the GT1 seat looks to be lower than the GT2 seat. I’ll get to see the seat display myself in a month. If so, GT1 might be the way to go.
Oh, 6’5”, 240lbs, 34” inseam (long torso), owned 3 Vettes, but not for a while. I’ll have to prove to myself I can be comfortable before I consider getting a fourth, but can’t not consider it now that GM came through with this gorgeous mid-engine C8.
A Z51 would make an amazing and fun GT car, if I can be comfortable. Eventually they’ll be on lots and I’ll be able to try all the seats. Not in a hurry. Looking forward to spotting them on the road. Corvette fever all over again! If I don’t fit I’ll just admire them from afar.

My biggest concern is shoulder room. I have very broad shoulders. Fit perfectly in a C6 and found the C5 and C7 were a little tighter. My left shoulder would make contact with the door. If it's no worse than the C7, I can make it work.
