Give it some time. It's far better than what the C4, C5, and C6 had, and It's certainly a step up in quality from the C7. Once people realize how intuitive the C8's interior layout is, they'll love it. The gear selector, Drive mode selector, touchscreen, and driver AC controls are all close together. This allows you to reach any control you need quickly and easily.

Why is having buttons in a row intrinsically a bad thing? I'm not sure what he's talking about.
The C8's interior is exquisite. I wouldn't change a single button.

So much for keeping one's eyes on the road.

As far as instruments go, I'm assuming the car will have an excellent heads up display. That will be primary. That is what I look at 99% of the time. Second, the dash instrumentation is completely digital. By that I mean electronic. I would hope that a driver could configure that according to their own preferences, but we will see. So you might be able to make that as simple or complex as you want. Third, the climate controls are automatic, I'm sure, so just set it and leave it alone.

Mid Engine- check Dual Clutch trans- check Interior that looks like a six year old star wars addict designed it- Deal Killer ! As a pilot, I've used many instrument arrangements but they all show the important information and delete abstractions. The C8 dash and climate controls are a bad nightmare. I waited four years for this car and they killed it with an overly busy and irrelevant interior. What a shame.

I think they’re perfect and will be staying indefinitely. It’s just out of your comfort zone.

99% sure this interior will stay in entire run of the C8.

that row of buttons is connected to an integral part of the interior, it's not as if they can just group all the buttons and place them somewhere else without completely changing the whole layout of the interior.....they will not change the interior in some mid year facelift like they did on the C4.
