Software Update Error Message
Do you get this error when there is no update being pushed to the car when you go click on software update on the infotainment screen? This guy seems to get the same error, making me think that is how the system operates.....tells you there is an error connecting vs nothing available (which would be more logical).
You can see the connection error at the 21 second mark of the video.
"Check your devices network settings or our remaining On Star data. Or, you can try connecting to a different wifi network"
I tried multiple networks and get the same message every time. Called GM and they passed me around to different people who could not answer...for over an hour.

I gave you this answer in your other thread: Connected to home wifi - getting connection error for update. Yes, if there are no updates, this is the error you get. Not logical, poor programming - but it is what it is.
