I’m trying to stay at around $82k because if they come out with a GS HTC in the future I’ll probably trade up. Love the HTC in AW with 3LT blue interior. 2nd choice would be 2LT red on red. So the question is what options would you give up to stay in budget.

1. Front Lift
2. MRC
3. NPP
4. 3LT
5. Carbon Flash Roof and Nacelles
6. Other

For those of you that have one, what would you do without?
Let's do it the other way. #2 and #3 are keepers. After that, the others are not critical.
#5 is not needed. You get it wrapped if you decide later you can't live without it.
#1 is not as important on a non-Z51 car because the base car's approach angle is about the same as Z51 with the lift kit.
#4 is nice but not necessary, unless you really want the blue interior, which is a very cool interior.
That said, all but #5 will be on my Z51 HTC

This visibility rearward has no difference top up or down -- its exactly the same view either way.
I appreciate your earlier comment on this topic from the other day. Although I use side and rear view mirrors, I was taught to look over my shoulder in high school Driver's Ed and haven't been able to break the habit, lol. Besides, in bumper to bumper Los Angeles traffic moving at fast speeds, every little bit helps.

Beyond the more exotic look of the HTC (in my opinion), I’ve been saying this for awhile.

did my prebuild as a 2021 HTC, 2LT, Z51 w/MAG RIDE, Red Seat Belts, ELB, $83k.

I think that is where I am sticking. May switch interior color to Adrenaline Red and ditch the red seat belts.

Thanks for the review. Ordered a coupe, have had it since August, Z06 will be a HTC 100%. HTC hadn't been trackday approved by NASA yet and I didn't want a new Corvette I couldn't do a trackday in.

How tall are you? How's the wind buffeting on the highway top down?

1. depends on where you drive... I'm in LA and the driveways/entrances are magnets for front scraping. I know I need it for my office (whenever I start going back there!)
2. Seems like the must have of this list.
3. Personally, I never think a stock exhaust is loud enough, it wasn't on any Vette I've owned, so I know I'm going aftermarket here.
4. 2LT got me everything I wanted... 3LT is primarily cosmetic.
5. No need. Also, my car is black.

I'm at $79K as a result.
