Default Easy Solution To Dash Reflections..

A $2.49 cent black hand towel at WalMart. Easy on easy off. Works great.

Wear polarized glasses during the day. Why spend 3LT money on that beautiful interior to drive around with a rag on the dash?

Window tint may be a more practical solution.

Or you could train your mind to ignore it (easily done for most people) instead of putting an UGLY towel in your C8!

heres a novel idea. Get a car with a black dash instead of a towel.

This topic was discussed several times here and ample warnings were thrown out there to help people avoid the glare.

I'm always amazed the people who say the glare is terrible are the same ones who don't own a tan interior.

It doesn't bother me at all.

Prescription glasses can also be polarized. You could also get some very nice clip on glasses that are polarized.

In my opinion, that would be a lot better and nicer than a rag on the dashboard.

Umm... I have prescription polarized sunglasses. You need to find a better supplier.

Lenscrafters sells them, Warby-Parker sells them, costadelmar, Walmart, etc. I bought mine locally.

Mine shift the color somewhat, but that's it. It's possible your glasses are polarized in the wrong direction.

So is there a thread that lists the dash colors that don't reflect or at least don't reflect as much? Reflections on the windshield from items people place on the dash drive me nuts so I imagine this reflection would also. I never even thought this would be an issue but now that you mentioned it driving the car ahead of time would be nice but it's something you can't do with the C8 being the inventory situation. .

I wear $15 polarized clip on sun glasses from Walgreens. But one of the posters is right....it can dim the head up display significantly.
