Here is exactly how a Black Dash can look on windshield. Major difference between the glare, is the Sunlight's angle hitting dash.
Same car going under the bridge you see ahead in the 1st one.
I'm surprised no one is asking the most important question here.........How many arms do you have? How'd you take the picture with both hands on the steering wheel?

I see 3 arms in this picture. The glare off the touch screen is kind of creepy!
So is there a thread that lists the dash colors that don't reflect or at least don't reflect as much? Reflections on the windshield from items people place on the dash drive me nuts so I imagine this reflection would also. I never even thought this would be an issue but now that you mentioned it driving the car ahead of time would be nice but it's something you can't do with the C8 being the inventory situation. .
Even black reflects under some conditions. Not as noticeable, but it's still there.
Polarized sunglasses significantly cut down the reflection and have minimal impact on the C8 HUD. However, they make the HUD unusable in my wife's Avalon.
The two different pairs I tried had a significant effect on HUD usability. But, with or without them, my glare isn’t that bothersome (standard “natural” interior, not dipped).
I got tired of breaking and losing expensive polarized sunglasses so I bought some cheap ones off Amazon and they work fine. Minimal impact on the HUD.
Anyone Who Thinks The Natural Dipped Reflection is Minor Doesn't Have It
This photo this morning is on a cloudy day. Sunny days are much worse. The black towel idea is one idea. Someone else had the dealer replace the tan center piece with a black one for $275 + an hour of labor, and that's a better solution at 100 times the price. Any other products that might solve this problem? BTW, polarized sunglasses make zero difference with the reflection strength.
